OUR STORY

With the slogan "you press the button, we do the rest," George Eastman put the first simple camera into the hands of a world of consumers in 1888. In so doing, he made a cumbersome and complicated process easy to use and accessible to nearly everyone.

Over a hundred years later Cool Sport Pix took Georges slogan one step future by turning the consumer into a photographic master. “You create the pose, click the button, and then we do the rest.” And in doing, early in our history, Cool Sport Pix partners Ryan Belleau and Eric Galler have taken their place as major innovators and users of technology, opening the financial rewards and creative benefits to Cool Sport Pix Affiliates world wide.

Some have called us “an overnight success,” give or take six or seven years. The venture began with Illusion imagery, which for the most part was a well kept secret. Tricks of smoke and mirrors were known only to Hollywood special effects technicians and photographic professionals. The common person was kept in the dark.

And so opened a conversation between Ryan Belleau and bother-in-law Eric Galler. Ryan's wife Pam owned, and still owns, a medium sized Martial Arts school in the prairies of Colorado. He asked Eric, “How's it done? How do you create those fantasy sport photos?”

What really stirred the question was this: For the past few years a third party photographer would come into Pam's Studio, take themed photos of her kids and clients that she herself posed, and leave with thousands of dollars in their pocket. Not a cent ever reached Pam's pocket. She would later received a free a ten dollar plaque in exchange for her troubles and the clients list she provided and built. And this was okay, until Ryan and Pam did the math. That ten dollar free plaque was costing her over $4,000 dollars. Multiply that by three times.

Ryan and Eric tossed an idea about. If we took our own photos, figured out the magic steps, they could illuminate the third party photographer, and keep the proceeds for themselves.

Technology,timing,and vision. That's the ingredients for success and it was knocking at the door.

Why take the photos at all? Pam was the one posing the kids and she knows there ability first hand. She also knew how to click a digital camera, most people do. With digital technology in the hands of the trainer, coach or instructor, they could take their own photos, create their own poses, and then “we'd do the rest.” Better yet, as the husband of a martial arts instructor, he new first hand the needs for extra income and opportunity. If we could detail the process, replicate it, we could all profit.

Together, the duo of creative collaborators formed the truly evolutionary Cool Sport Pix, and turned the industry upside down.

The secrete process was more than mere smoke and mirrors, it's the illusion of "Intervisibility." Intervisibility is the use of technology combining and manipulating two or more photographic elements and backgrounds, producing an integrated result. We take a simple pose, digitally captured and created by an instructor or coach using our “Hollywood” effects and technique, and digitally combine it through an artistic blending of light and shadows, with one of our truly cool, Cool Sport Pix themed backgrounds. It's a process very similar to the one used and seen in some of Hollywood's biggest movies.

It didn't take long to catch on. The $12,000 Pam, and the many like her, lost in the past was replaced ten times fold. She took charge of her own fate, and has since taken her Cool Sport Pix affiliation to even higher grounds by adding an entire athletic league to her list of Cool Sport Pix clientele. And she's not alone. The Cool Sport Pix program of success has been replicated time and time again by coaches, instructors, athletic organizations and teams world wide.
